I’m convinced that there is nothing more precious than newborns. There is something about their tiny features, the way they curl themselves up, their cooing noises, and yes, even their little cries that melts my heart.
I was priveleged enough to share the afternoon with a teeny tiny blessing yesterday. It makes me think back to when Drew was that size, which doesn’t seem that long ago. I spent the majority of my day carrying him around because I just couldn’t put him down, and when I finally did put him down, I spent that free time staring at him. Needless to say I didn’t get much done for the first several weeks.

Beautiful Melissa! I remember when Drew was teeny tiny. He would just sit there in his little swing and let the world go by. So sweet, I can't wait till I have my precious moments.
These are great. But, my favorite is the one in the hanging basket where the focus is on the foot. So precious.

Great job! What amazing pictures! I wish you were back in Texas… I'd have you photograph my little one. I'm going to attempt to take some myself with the fuzzy blanket. Those are so cute. I read the book you suggested 🙂 We'll see if I can get a few good shots.
