While the main purpose of my bedrest is obviously to keep these little twinlets in, it’s also given me time to catch up on things I’ve been holding onto for way too long. The backlog of photos I have go back to last April and that’s where this post comes from! You would think that being a photographer, I would have my own personal photos in order and up to date….uhhhh, no! I haven’t printed my own personal photos in so long, I really cannot remember the last time I did it! That will have to be a new goal of mine, print and edit my own photos each month so it doesn’t get so overwhelming.
Anyway, this beautiful April evening I joined my sweet friends Rachael and Marea to just explore and find a new location to shoot our own kiddos. We were looking for a field, and boy did we score! This field unfolded itself as we turned the corner. It was absolutely perfect with the wild flowers, bright green grass, old barn in the background, just perfect! The land belonged to an older woman who lived across the street and we caught it at just the right time because her son was about to come through and mow the whole thing down.
Well, here are a few of the moments I captured out there that evening. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
