This image just spoke to me for some reason when I was thinking about the thankful post. It was taken at the Royal Gorge in Colorado and as the clouds parted, they allowed the sun to cast it’s light in such a way that made me take a deep breath. I knew the light would hit perfectly. I was sitting there patiently waiting for that moment and I knew it would come. It’s amazing to me how you can stand in the presence of greatness or an unmistakably beautiful scene, but if the light hits just so, it’s even better than you could have imagined!
