Spring is officially here, at least for most of the south, and that means spring photo sessions galore!!! So, you’re all geared up, scheduled your session, but then you look at your closet and think…uhhhh, now what? What in the world am I going to wear and how do I make it work with all the family members? Well, thanks to Inspire Me Baby being so generous in sharing, I have collected a few clothing inspiration boards to get you headed in the right direction 🙂
There’s an idea for almost everyone here and many of them have the location of where the items have been found. You don’t have to spend a ton, and I bet with a little planning you can pull together most of it from your own closets! However, who doesn’t like a little shopping spree for your sure to be fabulous portraits?!
This of course, is just a starting point. If you’d like to see some other examples I have collected, visit my What To Wear Pinterest board 🙂
No matter who you choose to book your session with this spring, take some time to plan out your clothes. I promise it makes a huge difference. If you like what you’re wearing, you’ll feel better and like the way you look even more. That sort of thing always shines in your pictures. And please, pretty please for me, DO NOT plan on baseball caps and super casual clothes. If you have a beloved baseball cap or something you really want to use that doesn’t quite go with the rest of the look you’re aiming for, bring it. We can always toss it in at the end of the session!
Bottom line, your portrait session is an investment. If you are willing to save and prepare for the session, don’t skimp on the clothing. I promise, you’ll be glad you took the time to plan ahead 🙂
Happy Monday!
