Goodness does time fly. I feel as though I say that all the time, but nothing makes you feel the years whooshing by quite like taking engagement photos of someone you’ve known since she was a little girl. I met Liz when I started dating my husband, her uncle, 13 years ago. I can remember her dancing at our wedding, going to watch her soccer games, and so many more small moments that make impressions on the heart.

I tend to keep kids in my memory in a little box, tucked tightly away as small children that never age. Suddenly, I’m shocked that they’re old enough to drive, go to college, fall in love…get married. However, I couldn’t be happier for these two. It’s easy to see that Ryan and Liz have a comfortable, happy relationship. They’re not afraid to be silly with one another, which is one of the secrets to marriage, in my opinion. I’m thrilled that they allowed me to capture these moments for them. Here’s to many happy years full of joy and laughter!
