Time for another installment of personal family travel photos circa two years ago! This chapter will have you traveling through the Olympic National Forest in Washington. First, we begin at our starting point of Forks, WA. There is nothing significant about this photo except that I mentioned this town being pitiful. I was hoping for a little more vampire fanfare, however, like I mentioned in this post, this poster in the shop is all I saw other than the souvenirs in their local grocery store.

On to more beautiful things than Edward Cullen. I’m sure I’m about to lose several readers for the mention of the names, but don’t go yet, there are pretty things ahead!

These trees are pretty amazing and GINORMOUS! It was worth a touristy photo of, “look how tiny we are!”

Clearly, this next image shows that we have moved on and we’re not looking back!

Bradley and Will always seem to be completely content on our little hikes. This day was no exception. I love the progression of his mood here. He’s so funny!

Banana Slugs are everywhere up here and this one kept us entertained for several minutes. There was a park ranger there telling us all about them, which we found quite interesting, however, after two years I’m afraid I don’t remember a thing. But they’re pretty neat. To remedy the fact that I’ve forgotten all of my Banana Slug fun facts, here’s a link to them in Wikipedia 🙂 for those that are living in suspense!

Until our next installment!
