I had the extreme pleasure of photographing this sweet, precious girl at Mrs. Lee’s Daffodil Garden in Gladewater, TX.

If you have never been or have never heard of this magical place, you MUST put it on your bucket list. It’s also perfect for portrait sessions, but there’s a catch…

Mrs. Lee’s Daffodil Garden is only open to the public for about two weeks each year! The blooms are simply not interested in extreme longevity. However, for those two glorious weeks, you are transported to this beautiful world in a place you never would have expected it. To say it’s off the beaten path is an understatement. You can keep up with their timeline by visiting their Facebook page! The best part of Mrs. Lee’s story in my opinion is that she thought she purchased a box of daffodil bulbs from Holland, but in reality she purchase a BOXCAR of daffodil bulbs! It took about 40 workers to help plant them all.

I couldn’t think of a better place to bring an adorable little girl for some pictures, especially one who loves flowers.

Isn’t it fun to see the world through a child’s eyes?! It brings me such joy.

See? Magical.

Thank you for letting me capture Peyton at this most perfect age in a most perfect place. Peyton, I hope you enjoyed exploring your own secret garden.
