It’s #seniorsunday and what better way to wrap up this one than with Lauren’s senior portrait session! Lauren is about to graduate from Waskom High School and came over to Longview for her session after winning the session at Emily Rae’s Prom Show a couple months ago.

We planned her session in the weeks before it was held, texting back and forth sharing clothing options, the type of backdrop she was hoping for, and finalizing our meeting location and time.

Lauren asked for something natural, a wooded area. Done ✔️

I have a great location that filters the sunlight beautifully, and provides a few different natural background options.

From wooded, to light, soft grasses, to wildflowers…

we covered them all.

And we can’t forget about the tall grasses blowing in the wind as the light draped over her!

And for just a little more differentiation, this fence posed as the perfect addition to her session. Also, I’m a sucker for a good black and white photo. I feel like this one could be part of a novel waiting to be written.

This gorgeous girl is sweet as can be and it was an honor photographing her. Lauren, I wish you all the best in your journey ahead. I know you’ll do great things. Keep me posted along the way. I’d love to cheer for your successes from here. Congratulations!
